FAU Vs. Georgia: Fullback Zander Ogletree Possibly Serving A Suspension

Stay connected for news and updates

Georgia Bulldogs fullback Zander Ogletree may or may not be one of the many UGA football players serving a suspension. The junior didn't travel to Columbia, Mo., for the Dawg's game against Mizzou, and dressed but didn't play against Buffalo in the home opener. A number of fullbacks - including walk-ons - saw time in that game. Richt was cryptic, per Macon.com:

"Zander didn’t travel, but we only take so many fullbacks," Richt said.

Three fullbacks traveled for the Missouri game, and the only other player not on the dress-out list for that game was offensive lineman Watts Dantzler, who was suffering an ankle injury.

If Ogletree is suspended, he'd join a significant group of starters that haven't seen time in 2012 for the Dawgs, including corner Sanders Commings (arrested for battery), linebacker Alec Ogletree (team rules violation) and defensive back Bacarri Rambo (drug test failure).
