Virginia Vs. Georgia Tech Injury Report: Cornerback Louis Young To Play Satuday

Stay connected for news and updates

After not practicing Tuesday due to a hand injury, Georgia Tech cornerback Louis Young returned to practice Wednesday and will be able to play Saturday against Virginia, according to a report in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Young, who was suspended for the first game of the season against Virginia Tech for selling tickets to a Georgia Tech-Georgia game last season, returned to action last Saturday for the Yellow Jackets' 59-3 win over Presbyterian. The 6'1, 201-pound defensive back picked up two tackles in the victory.

Georgia Tech coach Paul Johnson also said Wednesday that running back David Sims will likely miss his second straight game while nursing a shin injury. Meanwhile, linebacker Daniel Drummond (ankle) and safety Fred Holton (foot) are questionable, according to the Journal-Constitution.

Offensive tackle Morgan Bailey, who is dealing with a high-ankle sprain, practiced Wednesday, but his status for Saturday's game has yet to be determined.
