After a tough road win over Missouri in Week 2, the Georgia Bulldogs return to Athens for a non-conference breather against Florida Atlantic Owls on Saturday before they resume SEC play.

Florida Atlantic, coming off a 1-11 season that sent legendary coach Howard Schnellenberger into retirement, was paid $1 million for the right to be punching bags for a Georgia team hoping to contend for an SEC title.

The Owls, under first-year coach Carl Pelini, the former defensive coordinator at Nebraska and brother of Cornhuskers coach Bo Pelini, haven't exactly been lighting the college football world on fire. They defeated Wagner, an FCS school, 7-3 at home in Week 1 before traveling to Middle Tennessee State for a 31-7 drubbing in Week 2.

But as Louisiana-Monroe proved in their upset of Arkansas last week, a "guarantee game" doesn't necessarily guarantee a win if the home team comes out flat.

More realistically, the Bulldogs will hope to avoid any bad habits or injuries in a game where they are favored by more than 40 points.

The 7:30 EST game will be televised on CSS, broadcast on the radio on 750 AM and streamed online at ESPN3.
