Virginia Vs. Georgia Tech: Yellow Jackets To Go With White Uniforms

Stay connected for news and updates

Blue worked all right last week for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets in a win over Presbyterian, but they'll let their Saturday opponents have the color this week.

Georgia Tech is opting to go with its white jerseys Saturday at home against the Virginia Cavaliers, who will wear blue, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The Yellow Jackets are 1-1 with the 59-3 whitewash of Presbyterian and the opening loss to Virginia Tech. The Cavaliers hope to give the Yellow Jackets an 0-2 start in ACC play.

The Jackets wore white helmets in the first two games, but practiced in their traditional gold helmets this week.

Saturday's game kicks off at 3:30 p.m. ET and will be televised by ESPNU.
