The Atlanta Falcons are up in the top five of the major NFL Power Rankings lists after Monday's win over the Denver Broncos. In the SB Nation Power Rankings, the Falcons are ranked No. 4, up from No. 10 after week one. Joel Thorman wonders if the balance of power in the NFC South has shifted:

In both the ESPN.com and NFL.com power rankings, the Falcons have risen to No. 3, up from No. 6 in both polls. Blogger Mike Sando considers Monday's win a statement game defensively for the Falcons.

The Falcons play the San Diego Chargers on Sunday at Qualcomm Stadium, kickoff scheduled for 4:05 p.m.
