2013 Georgia Tech Football Recruiting: Auburn, Georgia Tech Are Co-Leaders For Jay Ellison

The Auburn Tigers and Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets are reportedly the co-leaders on the recruiting trail for defensive tackle Jay Ellison -- one of Georgia's top defensive tackle prospects.

"Right now, it's really between Auburn and Georgia Tech," Ellison told the AJC. "Right now, they are fighting it out for the one spot with me."

What does Ellison like about Georgia Tech? "I really like the coaches and players. I like the defensive line coach [Andy McCollum], and all the coaches really ... it's like a great atmosphere when I go up there, especially for the games."

Ellison took his official trip to Georgia Tech this past weekend, and was able to see the Yellow Jackets blow out Virginia. Ellison will take his trip to Auburn this weekend.
