Falcons Vs. Chargers Blacked Out In San Diego

Stay connected for news and updates

For any NFL fans in Southern California looking to take in this weekend's marquee matchup between the Atlanta Falcons and the San Diego Chargers on TV, the news out of the area is not good.

According to the Chargers' Twitter, the game will be unavailable in the Southern California market because of NFL broadcast restrictions. The blackout kicked in after the Chargers were unable to sell out Qualcomm Stadium by midday Thursday.

Instead, the area will be able to take in a few other NFL games. You can check out the full television coverage map over at the506.com.

The Falcons travel to San Diego to put their 2-0 record to the test against the 2-0 Chargers. The Falcons topped the Denver Broncos on Monday night in Week 2.

Kickoff is scheduled for 4:05 p.m. EST and will be broadcast on FOX.
