Richard Samuel Disappointed With Current Role

Richard Samuel's time on the Georgia football team has been frustrating, according to a piece by Seth Emerson of The Telegraph.

After excelling on offense and defense in high school, Samuel entered Georgia as a five-star recruit.

In his first year, Samuel served as a backup to running back Knowshon Moreno. But even after Moreno left, Samuel was never able to get a consistent starting position.

In 2010, he tried to make it as a linebacker, but never played a down on defense. This year, he has put on weight to play fullback, and is unlikely to get any time at tailback.

Looking back on his career, Samuel was asked whether he has regrets:

"Not so much regrets. Just frustrated that it didn't go the way I expected or didn't go the way I would like it to go,"
