Jim Furyk shot a 64 on Friday to claim a one-stroke lead in the 2012 Tour Championship at -7. Tiger Woods, who was tied for the lead after the first round, fell to into a tie for 12th after shooting a 73. Several other players struggled with the course on Friday, including Lee Westwood,and Steve Stricker.
Furyk wasn't the only golfer to make a big move in the right direction. Bubba Watson climbed nine spots after shooting a 66, and the 67s that Dustin Johnson and Carl Pettersson shot helped both of them move into the top 10.
