Vanderbilt Vs. Georgia: Bulldogs Relatively Healthy After Win

The Georgia Bulldogs left a 48-3 win Saturday over the Vanderbilt Commodores relatively unscathed.

The only cause for possible concern moving forward would be defensive end Arby Jones, who suffered a leg injury in the third quarter and had to be helped off the field. He did not return to the game, but Georgia head coach Mark Richt didn't seem too concerned.

According to Chip Towers of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Richt said this of Jones' injury:

"The only thing I can say is we don't think it's a super-serious thing," said Richt, declining to discuss any other details.

Safety Shawn Williams left the field during pre-game warmups with an apparent leg or ankle injury, Towers said, but returned and started the game. He also had to be helped off the field at one point during the first quarter, but he returned from that too.

Williams finished with four tackles and 1 1/2 tackles for loss.

Left guard Dallas Lee started Saturday against Vanderbilt after suffering a sprained ankle in the Bulldogs' win over Florida International on Sept. 15. Lee played the whole game until starters were lifted in the fourth quarter.
