Some of the world's finest golfers will tee off in hopes of winning the 2012 Ryder Cup at the Medinah Country Club.

The world's finest golfers will meet at the Medinah Country Club in Medinah, Illinois where team USA and team Europe will tee off and battle to be named victorious of the 2012 Ryder Cup.

Europe won last time the competition took place in 2010 and will now be looking to string together consecutive wins. The United States, however, will be looking to change history by winning their second Ryder Cup since the start of the new millennium.

The United States will be led by captain Davis Love III and will feature many notable golfers such as Bubba Watson, Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson and Jim Furyk. Also on the United States roster is Brandt Snedeker, the winner of the Tour Championship and FedEx Cup champion.

They will be opposed by Europe captain José María Olazábal, who has put together a squad that also possesses the same fire power as the United States. Northern Ireland's Rory McIlroy and Englishman Justin Rose will lead the charge for Europe.
