Mets vs. Braves: Time, TV, radio info and more

The Atlanta Braves and New York Mets resume their three-game series at Turner Field Saturday. The Mets took a 3-1 win in Game 1 on Friday thanks to a three-run homer by Lucas Duda.

Atlanta sends Mike Minor (10-10) to the hill in Game 2. After a rough start to the season, Minor has pitched well over the last month. Since Aug. 25, he's 4-0, and his ERA has steadily dropped from 7.09 in May to 4.27 entering Saturday's game. In his only start against the Mets this season, the lefty allowed six runs on six hits in five innings and took the loss.

New York will call on righty Chris Young (4-8), who is seeking his second win since Aug. 2. Young has a 4.21 ERA and has won just two games since the beginning of July.

For Braves third baseman Chipper Jones, the game is one step closer to his final regular-season appearance at Turner Field. Atlanta held Jones' retirement ceremony before Friday's game, but he went 0-4 and didn't hit the ball out of the infield.

The Braves have already clinched a wild card berth, but Atlanta is still chasing the Washington Nationals for a possible National League East title. Entering this weekend's series, the Braves trailed the Nats by four games with six to play.

Saturday's first pitch is set for 7:10 p.m. ET. The game will be televised by Peachtree TV. For a complete list of Braves radio affiliates, click here.
