Tennessee Vs. Georgia Score: Freshman running backs pace Bulldogs to 21-10 lead

With freshman running backs Todd Gurley (33 yards, 2 TDs) and Keith Marshall (90 yards, 1 TD) leading the charge, the Georgia Bulldogs have jumped out to a 21-10 lead over the Tennessee Volunteers with one quarter in the books.

Georgia began the game with a prolific drive, moving 84 yards in 13 plays to set up a two-yard rushing touchdown from Gurley.

The Bulldogs would carry that momentum to defense, forcing a three-and-out on Tennesee's first possession. But instead of jumping out to an even larger lead, QB Aaron Murray thew a pick-six to S Byron Moore, putting the Volunteers right back in the game.

That tie would be short lived though with Marshall busting off a 75-yard rushing score on the Bulldogs' first play from scrimmage. Tennessee responded by putting together their best drive of the game with QB Tyler Bray getting 40 yards through the air, allowing kicker Derrick Brodus to sneak in a 34-yard field goal.

On Georgia's following drive, Murray would match Bray's solid play, finding TE Jay Rome for a 21-yard completion before hooking up with WR Tavarres King on 31-yard strike. King's next catch appeared to be a touchdown after he dragged the defender into the end zone but the referees would overturn the call and place the ball on the one. Gurley then pounded it in with ease for his second touchdown of the day to put Georgia up 21-7.
