Georgia State Vs. William & Mary Final Score: Panthers fall to 0-5 after 35-3 loss

Georgia State's struggles continue as they remain winless in five tries after a 35-3 loss to William & Mary.

Georgia State falls to 0-5 on the season after suffering a 35-3 road loss at William & Mary. The Panthers turned the ball over seven times in the game, three on fumbles and four on interceptions thrown by quarterback Ronnie Bell.

Georgia State took a 3-0 lead in the first quarter after a 37-yard field goal by Will Lutz. Things quickly went downhill from their as the Tribe scored 35 unanswered the rest of the way. Keith McBride gave William & Mary their first lead with a 11 yard touchdown run with 8:14 remaining in the second quarter. Raphael Ortiz extended the lead to 14-3 with a scoring run of his own just before the half.

Bell ended up taking all of the snaps at quarterback for the Panthers and finished 13-26 for 157 yards and four interceptions. Donald Russell turned in another solid performance carrying 21 times for 107 yards but was kept out of the endzone. Albert Wilson caught three passes for 61 yards.

McBride was a one man wrecking crew for the Tribe racking up 163 yards rushing and two touchdowns on 25 carries. Ortiz completed 8-13 passes for 101 yards and ran for two scores.

Georgia State returns home next week to the Georgia Dome where they will take on New Hampshire.
