The Falcons look to keep their hot start to 2012 going against the Carolina Panthers.
With the Atlanta Falcons off to a 3-0 start, the Carolina Panthers will visit the Georgia Dome to provide the Falcons with their first test against a divisional foe in the key Week 4 NFC South showdown.
With the rest of the division struggling early in 2012, the Falcons have already built a two-game lead on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New Orleans Saints and Panthers and could bolster their hold on the division race early with another victory over Carolina.
The Panthers have seen a 1-2 start to their season characterized by struggles from quarterback Cam Newton, who after winning the 2011 NFL Rookie of the Year award, has thrown five interceptions against two touchdowns in his first three games of 2012.
The Falcons, on the other hand, are reaping the benefits of quarterback Matt Ryan's hot start. Ryan ranks first in the league in passer rating and is tied for best among NFL quarterbacks through three weeks with eight touchdown tosses.
Date and Time: Sept. 30, 1 p.m. ET
