FedEx Cup Standings 2012: Bubba Watson And Matt Kuchar Still In Contention

After the BMW Championship, former Georgia Bulldog golfer Bubba Watson and St. Simmons Island, Ga. resident Matt Kuchar remain in contention for the FedEx Cup. Watson finished at 12-under tied for No. 12 at the BMW Championship and Kuchar finished at 1-under tied at No. 54.

Watson dropped one spot in the FedEx Cup standings to No. 11 and Kuchar dropped three spots to No. 16. Rory McIlroy, who has won three of the last four tournaments he has entered, the PGA, BMW and Deutsche Bank Championships, leads the standings entering the Tour Championship.

Tiger Woods who finished tied for fourth at the BMW enters the Tour Championship in second. Lee Westwood, who finished tied for second at the BMW Championship rose 15 places in the standings to No. 8.

BMW Championship 2012 Results: Rory McIlroy Comes From Behind To Win

Rory McIlroy shot a 5-under 67 during Sunday's final round of the BMW Championship to take home the tournament crown. McIlroy finishes at 20-under for the tournament and two shots better than second place finishers Lee Westwood and Phil Mickelson. McIlroy recorded back-to-back birdies at 15 and 16 to give himself some breathing room. He played it safe on the 18th hole, recording a bogey but still finishing two shots ahead of Westwood and Mickelson.

Tiger Woods recorded a 4-under 68 on Sunday to pull within three shots of the lead and finish in a tie for fourth place with Robert Garrigus at 17-under.

Mickelson entered Sunday as the tournament leader, but his 2-under 70 on Sunday wasn't enough to hold off McIlroy.

BMW Championship Leaderboard: Phil Mickelson Leads Rory McIlroy, Vijay Singh

Phil Mickelson is in sole possession of first place and holds a one-shot lead over Rory McIlroy and Vijay Singh during the final-round of the BMW Championship.

Mickelson is 2-under through the first six holes of his final round which has him at 18-under for the tournament. McIlroy is also 2-under on Sunday and is one back along with Singh. Lee Westwood is alone in fourth place two-shots back at 16-under. Ryan Moore rounds out the top five three shots back at 15-under. Tiger Woods is among a group of golfers tied for sixth place at 14-under.

Bubba Watson recorded his best round of the tournament on Sunday with a 7-under, 65. Watson jumps up 24 spots on the leader board and is currently among those tied for 13th place.

BMW Championship 2012: Bubba Watson Trying To Finish Strong

The leaders have yet to hit the course at the BMW Championship but several golfers back in the field are moving up with solid final rounds. Bubba Watson is 3-under through 10 holes of his final round and has moved up 12 spots in the process. Watson has birdies on the second, fourth and ninth holes on Sunday and is currently 8-under for the tournament.

The biggest movers so far today are Geoff Ogilvy and Greg Chalmers who are both 6-under through 14 holes of their final rounds. Chalmers is 10-under for the tournament and has moved up 26 spots on Sunday to 19th place. Ogilvy is currently 9-under for the tournament and has jumped up 30 spots on the leader board since the start of Sunday's round.

2012 BMW Championship: TV Schedule, Tee Times, Pairings For Sunday

Tiger Woods went into Saturday's action just one shot behind Vijay Singh for the lead at the 2012 BMW Championship. After a tough start on Saturday that saw him bogey four times on his first eight holes, Woods now sits in eighth place on the leaderboard going into Sunday.

Phil Mickelson was much better on Saturday, shooting a round-best 64. Lefty is now tied for the lead with Singh at -16. Right behind Singh and Mickelson are Lee Westwood and Rory McIlroy at -15. Adam Scott may be tied for fifth, but he shot a -6 on Saturday, only two back of Mickelson's -8 in the third round. Another good day for Scott could push him over Westwood and McIlroy to be in contention for the win.

Golf Channel will start the coverage of the final round at 12:00 p.m. ET with the feed switching over to NBC at 2 p.m. for the remainder of the event. Sunday's action starts at 8:05 a.m. with the final tee times and pairings below.

BMW Championship 2012: Vijay Singh and Phil Mickelson Hold One Stroke Lead

Phil Mickelson thrust himself into a share with Vijay Singh of the top spot of the leaderboard going into the final day of the tightly contested BMW Championship.

Mickelson his 8-under on the day to jump up 12 spots to sit at 16-under overall with Singh. That lead is a small one though, as Lee Westwood and Rory McIlroy sit one stroke back after 4-under and 3-under days.

Adam Scott and Robert Garrigus both went 6-under on the day to take a tie for 15th place with Dustin Johnson, two strokes behind Mickelson and Singh.

Tiger Woods and Ryan Moore both opened Saturday's round only one stroke behind Singh, but both struggled in the third round action. Woods was only 1-under to drop down to eighth place at 13-under, and Moore hit 1-over to land himself tied for 12th place.

BMW Championship Leaderboard: Vijay Singh Retains Hold On Top

Phil Mickelson and Adam Scott charged up the leaderboard with strong days at the BMW Championship on Saturday. Both golfers are sitting at 6-under on the day through the 15th hole.

However, both Mickelson and Scott sit two strokes back of Vijay Singh who leads tops the leaderboard at 16-under overall. Singh is currently sitting on the 11th hole and is 3-under on the day.

Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy and Ryan Moore all sat one stroke back on Singh to open up the day's action but have had trouble keeping pace. Both Moore and Woods are par for the days action through 10 holes and now sit four strokes back of Singh. McIlroy has fared a bit better, going 1-under on the day through 10 holes. He sits three back of Singh.

BMW Championship 2012: Vijay Singh Leads After Round 2, Tiger Woods And Rory McIlroy Right Behind

The second round of the 2012 BMW Championship is complete, and Vijay Singh has moved into sole possession of the lead. Singh, who opened the day in fifth place, started off with three straight birdies and collected seven on the day, leaving him at 13-under and at the top of the leaderboard. Rory McIlroy, Ryan Moore and Tiger Woods are all tied for second, one stroke off the lead.

Woods struggled to find the green, hitting only 13 of 18 in regulation, but did not miss a putt from within ten feet, sinking all 17 of his attempts. McIlroy picked up four bogeys on the day, sending him down the leaderboard.

Georgia's Matt Kuchar was 1-over for Round 2, leaving him 2-under overall and tied for 50th place. Former UGA golfer Bubba Watson is doing a bit better, 4-under overall and tied for 44th.

BMW Championship Leaderboard: Ryan Moore, Bo Van Pelt Lead

Ryan Moore and Bo Van Pelt are tied at 10-under atop the leaderboard at the BMW Championship in Friday's early second-round action from Crooked Stick Golf Course in Carmel, Ind.

Moore has a 4-under on the round through nine holes while Van Pelt got off to a quick 2-under round through four.

Georgia resident Matt Kuchar is at 4-under for the tournament after getting off to a 1-under start through four holes Friday, while former UGA golfer Bubba Watson has struggled to a 2-over start through the front nine to sit at 1-under for the tournament.

Tiger Woods has an even-par round through seven holes to sit at 7-under, three shots back of the lead but tied for 10th overall. Lee Westwood, Vijay Singh and Rory McIlroy are all one back at 9-under

A top heavy leaderboard tees off early on Friday morning as some of the world's best golfers compete in the second round of the BMW Championship from Carmel, Ind.'s Crooked Stick Golf Course.

2012 BMW Championship: Four-Way Tie Atop The Leaderboard After Round One

The opening round of the 2012 BMW Championship has concluded and there is a four-way tie atop the leaderboard. Americans Webb Simpson and Bo Van Pelt, Ireland's Rory McIlroy and Canada's Graham DaLaet all shot a 64 on the day and finished at 8-under par.

Tiger Woods finished the day at 7-under par along with Vijay Singh. Americans Ryan Palmer and Ryan Moore are tied at 6-under par while Jimmy Walker and Zach Johnson round out the top 10 as the two are tied at 5-under par.

The worst finishers of the day were Bryce Molder and William McGirt as the pair shot an opening round 77, good for 5-over par. McGirt bogeyed a third of his 18 holes while Molder connected on eight bogeys on Thursday.
