The 2012 U.S. Open continues Thursday, highlighted by a match between second-seeded Novak Djokovic and seventh-seeded Juan Martin del Potro. Djokovic has a shot at his sixth straight U.S. Open semi-final, while del Potro is attempting to advance his farthest since he won the tournament in 2009. Del Potro defeated Andy Roddick on Wednesday, in what Roddick said would be the final match of his career.

The mixed doubles bracket comes to a close on Thursday when Kveta Peschke and Marcin Matkowski take on Ekaterina Makarova and Bruno Soares. That match is scheduled for 12 p.m. ET. Following that match is No. 8 Janko Tipsarevic vs. No. 4 David Ferrer in the men's singles draw, the winner of which will face the winner of Djokovic vs. del Potro.
