Stay connected for news and updates

The second round of the 2012 BMW Championship is complete, and Vijay Singh has moved into sole possession of the lead. Singh, who opened the day in fifth place, started off with three straight birdies and collected seven on the day, leaving him at 13-under and at the top of the leaderboard. Rory McIlroy, Ryan Moore and Tiger Woods are all tied for second, one stroke off the lead.

Woods struggled to find the green, hitting only 13 of 18 in regulation, but did not miss a putt from within ten feet, sinking all 17 of his attempts. McIlroy picked up four bogeys on the day, sending him down the leaderboard.

Georgia's Matt Kuchar was 1-over for Round 2, leaving him 2-under overall and tied for 50th place. Former UGA golfer Bubba Watson is doing a bit better, 4-under overall and tied for 44th.
