Georgia Vs. Missouri: Malcolm Mitchell Getting 'Back In The Flow'

Stay connected for news and updates

Malcolm Mitchell returned to the field for the Bulldogs on Saturday at Missouri, but playing cornerback instead of wide receiver. It's going to take time for Mitchell to get fully comfortable just being on the football field, as he continues to recover from his ankle injury.

Mitchell even said he felt soreness after Saturday's game.

"It has been a while," Mitchell said. "It was fun. It's just one of those things you have to get back in the flow of."

Eventually, Mitchell is going to play both ways, but it's key for him to get that ankle right.

"I'm taking it one game at a time," said Mitchell, who said his ankle was sore following Saturday night's win. "I gotta let my ankle heal all the way up first before I do any two-ways, that's for sure."
