The experts at CBS are the only group who has been bold enough to make their Super Bowl picks, and they think Baltimore has the advantage.

The 2013 Super Bowl is set so all that's left is the media frenzy surrounding the event, and the actual game itself. The folks in Vegas believe that the 49ers have the edge over the Ravens, with San Francisco installed as five-point favorites in the initial Super Bowl point spread. Bettors don't seem to agree, as the line has since been trimmed. It appears that the experts at CBS feel the same way.

Just two of CBS's nine prognosticators believe the 49ers will take home the Lombardi Trophy. Both of those guys have "senior" next to their title, so that should count for something in San Francisco. Senior NFL columnist Pete Priscoe and Senior Fantasy writer Dave Richard were the brave men who went against the grain.

From statistics and talent standpoints, it's hard not to argue with Priscoe and Richard. The 49ers have the advantage, or are at least equal, in most areas. However, the same could have been said when the Ravens took on the Patriots in the AFC Championship. Those other seven guys must be banking on Baltimore to play over their heads one more time.
