Three BCS bowls will be featured this week, including Florida and Louisville in the Sugar Bowl, and Kansas State playing Oregon in the Fiesta Bowl.
Only five bowl games remain before the BCS National Championship Jan. 7 in Miami, including three big BCS bowls. The Sugar Bowl is first up, followed by the Fiesta Bowl and Cotton Bowl. The week ends with the BBVA Compass Bowl in Birmingham.
The Sugar Bowl will take place Jan. 2 and features Florida's fearsome defense against Big East co-champion Louisville. The No. 3 Gators narrowly missed a national championship appearance as the third-ranked team in the BCS, so they'll make the trip to New Orleans to play in the Superdome.
The Fiesta Bowl, out in Glendale, Ariz., will be a matchup of high-flying offenses. On one side is Chip Kelly's Oregon team that pounded teams with points all season. On the other side is Kansas State, featuring Collin Klein under center for the Wildcats' powerful offense. That game will take place Jan. 3.
The next night is the final BCS bowl game before the national championship: The Cotton Bowl at Cowboys Stadium. That game will pit Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel and Texas A&M against Oklahoma.
The final bowl game of the week is the BBVA Compass Bowl in Birmingham, Ala. An afternoon game, Ole Miss will take on Pittsburgh.
