Brian McCann was the National League catcher selected for the 2010 Silver Slugger. This was McCann's fourth time winning the award and his third consecutive year taking the title for league's top hitter for his position.
McCann batted .269 with a .375 on base percentage while hitting 21 home runs. Brian also posted a career-high walk total of 74.
Brian is the third Brave ever to win the award four times, tying outfielder Dale Murphy and pitcher Tom Glavine with four. Expect Brian to break that record in the coming years, although Buster Posey will be an annual competitor likely for the remainder of McCann's career.
