Tim Hudson Finishes Fourth In Cy Young Balloting

Stay connected for news and updates

The Braves ace and the Comeback Player of the Year, Tim Hudson, finished fourth in this year's Cy Young balloting. Hudson had a great season as he rebounded from missing nearly all of 2009 due to Tommy John surgery the season before.

Hudson closed out the year with a 17-9 record, 2.83 ERA, and a 64.1 ground ball percentage. It was a marvel of a season for the veteran right-hander, and the Braves will be counting on him for yet another good season in 2011.

Winning the award was Roy Halladay. Finishing second was Adam Wainwright and third was Ubaldo Jimenez. Hudson finished with three third place votes, 13 fourth place votes, and four fifth place votes, according to Mark Bowman.
