Thrashers: You may have heard the Atlanta Thrashers have a lot going on right now. The city of Winnipeg is keeping a close eye on the team's financial situation, with one interested party running a blog devoted to importing an NHL team. Braves: Our own Rob Neyer (still love typing that!) has been putting together an all-decade team -- an all this-decade team, not last-decade team -- and is struggling to come up with any competition at all for Jason Heyward at right field. He also describes Brian McCann as "perpetually underrated" and "on a Hall of Fame path." Oh, and says the Braves are a good playoffs bet.
Hawks: Josh Smith has gotten a lot of credit this year for being an improved perimeter shooter, but Hoopinion reveals all that outside shooting, no matter how decent it has become, is still a detriment to Smoove's productivity.↵
