Braves Vs. Brewers Score: Brewers Lead 3-2 Through Five Innings Behind Ryan Braun Homer

Tommy Hanson's struggles have carried over from Washington, as he has allowed three runs in five innings. The Brewers lead through five, 3-2.

The Brewers scored two in the first on a two-run homer by Ryan Braun. The Braves answered in the second when Freddie Freeman singled and Matt Young walked, which set up a two-run single by Martin Prado to tie it at two.

However, Milwaukee came right back in the home half of the second with a run. Nyjer Morgan doubled with one out and stole third, which was followed by a grounder by George Kottaras that was thrown home by Dan Uggla. Morgan knocked the ball from Brian McCann's glove and was safe, giving the Brewers a one-run lead.

Both pitchers have followed similar paths so far. Hanson has allowed three runs on six hits in five innings, walking one and striking out two. Brewers starter Shaun Marcum has allowed two runs on four hits in five innings, walking two and striking out three. Neither has flashed great stuff or command, but both have kept their teams in the game so far.
