Tommy Hanson Hopes To Be Cleared For Full Activity By Tuesday

Stay connected for news and updates

After being sidelined for almost a week while recovering from the effects of a concussion he suffered in a one-car accident, Atlanta Braves SP Tommy Hanson was able to work-out Sunday with no ill effects and expects to be cleared by Atlanta's medical staff shortly:

While there were no reports that Hanson's injury was considered all that serious, the mountains of new scientific research which shows the lingering affects of a head injury has made the Braves cautious in bringing their young pitcher back into the fold.

Every player responds differently, but the worst case scenario appears to be happening in Minnesota, where the career of Justin Morneau, a former MVP, is in jeopardy due to recurring concussion-like symptoms.

Thankfully for Atlanta fans, it doesn't appear that Hansen's injury is anywhere as serious.
