ATLANTA - JUNE 30: Chipper Jones #10 of the Atlanta Braves kneels behind second base during a pitching change by the Washington Nationals at Turner Field on June 30
The Braves will host their home-opener against the Brewers on Friday.
After six road games to open the season, the Atlanta Braves will have their home-opener on Friday when the Milwaukee Brewers come to town for a three-game series.
Jair Jurrjens will get the start for the Braves. Jurrjens struggled in Spring Training with lower velocity and will look to rebound from his first start of the season, when he gave up three earned runs in 4 1/3 in a loss against the Mets. The Brewers will counter with Randy Wolf, marking the fifth time in seven games the Braves will have faced a left-handed starter. Chipper Jones, who will be appearing in his last Opening Day in Atlanta, is hitting .377 with four home runs in his career against Wolf.
