Dan Uggla and Chipper Jones both had two-RBI base hits in the seventh inning as the Atlanta Braves opened up a 6-1 lead that they would hold for their 13th win of the young season.

As noted earlier, the scariest part of the game for Atlanta fans came in the sixth inning when Brian McCann was pulled with an apparent rib cage strain, which you may remember is the same injury he suffered through last season. He is listed as day-to-day at the moment.

David Ross, who come on the replace McCann, drew a walk and scored during the four-run seventh inning.

Tommy Hanson went six innings for the Braves, throwing 60 of his 102 pitches for strikes. He would strike out five, and walk three.

Kris Medlen was dominant in relief for the Braves, as he went three scoreless innings in which the only base runner allowed was a walk. He now sports a 1.42 ERA on the season.
