The Atlanta Braves don't need any reminders about last season's implosion in the Wild Card race, but they'll get a nice, strong dose of what might have been on Friday night when they begin a three game series with the St. Louis Cardinals, who took the Braves' spot and won a World Series with it.
Mike Minor will take the hill for Atlanta, possibly battling for his job. The left-hander is the disappointment of the rotation thus far in 2012, and was beat up for 15 runs on 18 hits over 11 1/3 innings in his last two starts.
Date / Time: Friday, May 11, 8:15 p.m. ET
Location: Busch Stadium, St. Louis, Missouri
TV: Fox Sports South, Peachtree TV
Radio: WNNX 100.5, WCNN 680
Probable Starters: Mike MInor (2-2) vs. Jaime Garcia (2-2)
