Braves Vs. Rays: Game 1 Lineups Announced

The Braves begin interleague play in Tampa taking on the Rays at Tropicana Field.

Because baseball has strange rules and the game is being played in Tampa, the Braves will have a designated hitter in the lineup. Eric Hinske has spent most of his career in the American League and has a lifetime .248 average as a DH.

Here is the lineup for the Braves:

Michael Bourn, CF

Martin Prado, LF

Freddie Freeman, 1B

Dan Uggla, 2B

Brian McCann, C

Chipper Jones, 3B

Jason Heyward, RF

Eric Hinske, DH

Tyler Pastornicky, SS

Here is the lineup for the Rays:

Ben Zobrist, 2B

B.J. Upton, CF

Matt Joyce, RF

Carlos Pena, 1B

Luke Scott, DH

Jeff Keppinger, 3B

Eliot Johnson, SS

Rich Thompson, LF

Jose Molina, C
