The 2012 MLB season is 25 percent down and right now the Braves have a 1.5 game lead over the Nationals in the NL East.
The Atlanta Braves have won seven of their last 10 games and are currently in first place in the NL East, and have a slime 1.5 game lead over the Washington Nationals. The Nationals have struggled by losing four of their last six games to fall out of first place.
The entire NL East is close as the top to bottom is only separated by five games at approximately the one-quarter point of the season.
The next series for the Braves is a four-game set against the Cincinnati Reds who currently are in second place in the NL Central.
