ANIMATED: Fielding Error By Nationals Outfielder Belongs On A Blooper Reel

With so many games in baseball there are going to be those wacky plays that are just hilarious. The latest comes between the Washington Nationals and Atlanta Braves game where Stephen Lombardozzi and Rick Ankiel get tangled up in the outfield.

Lombardozzi goes for the ball and catches it off the bounce, but for some reason Ankiel runs from the other side to make a play and gets so close that he has to slide and in the process he takes out Lombardozzi who tumbles over Ankiel.

Talking Chop provided this .GIF and they have one sentence that explains it all:

Lesson 91, how not to field a ball in the outfield gap, the "Pick and Roll:"

I could watch this over and over.
