The Braves are looking to win their fourth straight game as they take on the Cubs.
The Atlanta Braves are traveling to the midwest to take on the Chicago Cubs. The Braves are entering the Cubs series by coming off of a three-game sweep of the Colorado Rockies and winning four of their last five games.
While the Cubs are 5-5 in their last 10 games and have not won more than two games in a row since April 23 and 24 when they took two from the St. Louis Cardinals.
Both teams are tossing out their better starting pitchers in Tommy Hanson and Jeff Samardzija. The Braves will need to be on their game as Samardzija has stepped up his game in his last two starts where he has gone 2-0 in 14.1 innings, allowed seven hits and struck out 16.
