Its still very early in the 2012 Major League Baseball season but it is never too early to take a quick peek at the standings. Fresh off of a sweep of the Colorado Rockies, the Atlanta Braves are in second place and a half game behind the Washington Nationals for first place in the NL East.
The Braves have won six of 10 and are two and a half games in front of third place New York. Miami is on the move after winning six straight games while the Philadelphia Phillies have sunk to last place in the division.
