Tim Hudson gets the start for the Atlanta Braves on Wednesday night, as the Braves look to avoid a sweep at the hands of the New York Yankees, as well as avoid a fourth straight loss.
Both Fredi Gonzalez and Joe Girardi have announced the starting lineups for Wednesday night's contest, and they are as follows:
New York Yankees
SS Derek Jeter
CF Curtis Granderson
3B Alex Rodriguez
2B Robinson Cano
1B Mark Teixeira
LF Raul Ibanez
RF Nick Swisher
C Russell Martin
SP Hiroki Kuroda
Atlanta Braves
CF Michael Bourn
LF Martin Prado
C Brian McCann
2B Dan Uggla
3B Chipper Jones
RF Jason Heyward
1B Eric Hinske
SS Andrelton Simmons
SP Tim Hudson
Heyward returns to the lineup after a night off on Tuesday, replacing Matt Diaz in the lineup. Starting Diaz paid dividends for Gonzalez on Tuesday, as Diaz gave the Braves a 3-0 lead in the first inning on a bases clearing double.
Also of note is Freddie Freeman's absence from the lineup, as Hinske gets the start at first base.
