Ben Sheets will make his debut in a Braves uniform on Sunday with Atlanta looking for their seventh consecutive win and a three-game sweep of the New York Mets. Sheets was signed to a minor league deal by the Braves and started twice at the Double-A level before being called up. Randall Delgado was sent to Triple-A to make room on the roster.

The Mets will turn to lefty Johan Santana who had his scheduled start on Friday pushed back to Sunday because of a sore ankle. Santana struggled last time out giving up seven earned runs in 4.2 innings in a loss to the Cubs. Lifetime he is 3-7 in 14 starts against the Braves despite having a 2.53 ERA.
