The Braves are still 3.5 games behind the Nationals for the N.L. East lead after the two teams split a four-game set
The Atlanta Braves just wrapped up a four-game series against the N.L. East leading Washington Nationals, but no ground was able to made as the two teams split their four game series. With the split the Nationals still lead the Braves by 3.5 games in the N.L. East.
The Braves are fairly safe in their second place spot as they are five games ahead of the Mets and six games ahead of the Marlins. Bringing up the rear is the Phillies who are 14 games out of first place.
The Braves should be able to keep up the winning and hang around the top of the N.L. East race as their next 10 games are against the Marlins and Phillies.
