Andrelton Simmons Injury Update: Braves Shortstop Will Be In Cast For Four Weeks

Injured Braves shortstop Andrelton Simmons is going to need some time to regain his strength after suffering from a broken finger. Mark Bowman is reporting that Simmons will be in a cast for four weeks and that there is not timetable set for his return.

Simmons was placed on the 15-day disabled list on Monday, just a day after his collision that resulted in the rookie's broken finger. Simmons has a .296 average with three home runs and 15 RBIs in 33 games
