There's a generation of baseball fans that grew up watching Chipper Jones play for the Atlanta Braves and subsequently in seven All-Star games. On Tuesday, Jones will play in his eighth and final one, and the veteran can't wait to get out there.
Neither can his four sons, whose ages range from 6-14. Jones used to round up his All-Star teammates and fly them on his chartered private jet to the game, but this time he's getting his sons, who are flying back from vacation in Miami, and they fly to Kansas City on Monday. Jones' parents are meeting him in Kansas from their ranch in Texas, all of this according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
"They're jacked up, man, ready to go," Jones said of his boys. "I'm sure they won't get much sleep tonight."
