The Braves continue to lead the National League Wild Card race and are within 4.5 of the Washington Nationals in the NL East.

After salvaging a series split with the San Francisco Giants, the Atlanta Braves continue to lead the National League Wild Card chase — holding a 2.5-game advantage on the St. Louis Cardinals and a 4 game advantage over the Los Angeles Dodgers, who are the first team out of a Wild Card spot.

The Washington Nationals' four-game losing streak has also allowed the Braves to move back into the conversation in the National League East standings, and they are now just 4.5 games back of Washington.
