The Atlanta Braves continue to pace the National League Wild Card race.

After a strong showing against the National League East-leading Washington Nationals, the Atlanta Braves continue to pace the NL Wild Card race, as they closed the gap between themselves and the Nationals to just 5.5 games with 15 games to play.

The Braves are also well up on the St. Louis Cardinals, who currently hold the second Wild Card slot in the National League. The Los Angeles Dodgers, Milwaukee Brewers and Pittsburgh Pirates all chase the two teams, looking to get that new fifth berth into Major League Baseball's postseason.
