Injuries continue to haunt the Braves at shortstop.
He will have X-rays done on the shoulder, but Janish does not seem overly optimistic: "I've probably done it eight or nine times before but never got stuck," according to Kevin McAlpin of the Braves Radio Network.
Janish, who joined the Braves in July, has been the starting shortstop for most of his time in Atlanta, as injuries have kept Alex Gonzalez and rookie Andrelton Simmons out of the lineup.
Janish has not dazzled at the plate -- he's hitting just .186 -- but he has contributed with his solid defense.
