The Braves send Kris Medlen to the mound to open a four-game set with the Rockies.
Fresh from a thrilling walk-off victory over the Philadelphia Phillies capped by a Chipper Jones walk-off home run, the Atlanta Braves welcome the Colorado Rockies to Turner Field in Atlanta on Labor Day at 1:10 p.m.
Kris Medlen will take the mound for the Braves, as the team looks for a better outing than it got from Paul Maholm on Sunday night, when the starter gave up seven runs in two-plus innings of work.
The Rockies send Tyler Chatwood to the mound to take on the Braves offense in the first of four between the two teams.
The Braves continue to pace the National League Wild Card race despite a three-game losing streak before Jones's walk off homer on Sunday. They have a 3.5 game cushion between them and the outside edge of the playoff picture.
Date/Time: Monday, September 4, 1:10 p.m.
