It seems that there is some bad news out of Sunday’s win. Rookie Linebacker Sean Weatherspoon injured himself on a Cleveland Browns running play. He was attended to by trainers then walked off by his own power.

According the AJC Weatherspoon is going to get an MRI on his knee to make sure there is no serious damage. But with an already sore ankle things don’t sound the brightest.

If the Falcons expect to make a run in the playoffs they will need Weatherspoon for the season. Let’s hope he is healthy and ready to go next week against Philadelphia.
