Pittsburgh Panthers at Connecticut Huskies, 7:30, ESPN: Seriously, why does Big East football wait so long to get all of its conference games out of the way? Pitt leads the conference, and UConn is at the bottom, yet the Huskies could still end up winning the whole thing. We should be down to only three or four teams by now. Like the ACC Atlantic.

Baltimore Ravens at Atlanta Falcons, 8:20, NFL Network or myATL: Two of the NFL's best teams, prime time, the Thursday Night Football opener, Joe Flacco vs. Matt Ryan, Ray Lewis vs. former coach Mike Smith, and the drama of changing channels until 8:30 while trying to find whatever made-up channel this thing is on!
