The Falcons could see Ronnie Brown twice in a year, and not because he's on a divisional opponent: Philadelphia Daily News writer Les Bowen reports that the Eagles have traded Brown to the Detroit Lions for Jerome Harrison and a draft pick. Brown will be playing for his third team in less than a year, while Harrison returns to Philadelphia, where he played eight games in the 2011 season.
For the Lions, the move could be seen as insurance in case starter Jahvid Best can't play on Sunday. Best suffered his second concussion of the year last week against the San Francisco 49ers, and while he could still play against the Falcons, concussions often require more than a week of recovery.
Brown, meanwhile, will likely suit up against the Falcons for the second time in six weeks. He had three carries for 10 yards for Philly in the Falcons' 35-31 win in Week 2.
