Falcons Fantasy Football Projections, Week 11: Julio Jones Hurt, Harry Douglas Finally Emerges

Despite a tough overtime loss to the New Orleans Saints, the Falcons actually have a lot to be happy out after Sunday's performance. Sure, the offense was uber-predictable on fourth-and-inches, fire Mike Mularkey, etc. But that's neither here nor there at the moment.

What I do know is that Matt Ryan- though he only completed 29 of his 51 pass attempts- threw for over 350 yards and two touchdowns (and one interception that was entirely the fault of Roddy White). Keep in mind, this was with Julio Jones missing almost the entire game.

Michael Turner picked up 96 yards and 22 carries, and was pretty much his usual self. Tony Gonzalez was as consistent as ever, with six catches for 71 yards and a TD. And then there's Harry Douglas, who came out of absolutely nowhere and caught eight passes for 133 yards, a career high. I'm not sure anyone saw this coming, but you certainly have to admire the guy for finally working himself into the Falcons offense once again.

With all that said, here's a look at the Falcons' week 11 projections:

The Tennessee Titans are, by all accounts, a pretty average defense. As far as fantasy points are concerned, they allow the 19th most points to QBs and the 16th most points to running backs. The only area they've really lacked this season has been covering tight ends, likely due to the departure of Stephen Tulloch.

In addition, their talent at corner doesn't reach far beyond Corteland Finnegan. That makes both Gonzalez and Douglas prime targets for Ryan this week as the Falcons look to get back to their winning ways against Tennessee.
