NFC South Standings 2011: Falcons Pull To Within One Game Of Division Lead

The Atlanta Falcons closed to within one game of the New Orleans Saints in the NFC South division with a 23-16 victory over the Tennessee Titans Sunday at the Georgia Dome.

Atlanta Falcons 23 vs. Tennessee Titans 17: Matt Ryan threw for over 300 yards and Michael Turner ran for 100 as the Falcons successfully bounced back from their overtime loss to the New Orleans Saints with a 23-17 victory over the Titans on Sunday. Atlanta pulls to within one game of the division lead trailing the Saints by just one game.

Green Bay Packers 35 vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers 26: Tampa Bay provided a scare for the undefeated Packers before falling 35-26 at Lambeau Field. Josh Freeman threw for 342 yards and two touchdowns for the Bucs who fall to 4-6 on the season and three games back of the Saints in the division standings.

Detroit Lions 49 vs. Carolina Panthers 35: Carolina suffered a shootout loss to the Detroit Lions Sunday and fell to 2-8 in the NFC South division. Cam Newton threw for 280 yards and a touchdown but also threw four interceptions.

New Orleans Saints - Bye: The Saints carried a two game winning streak into their bye week and will begin their final stretch of the season on Monday, November 28 against the New York Giants.
