Atlanta enters the weekend as a 9.5 point favorite over the Minnesota Vikings in their Week 12 match up at the Georgia Dome.

The Atlanta Falcons head into the weekend as a 9.5 point favorite against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday at the Georgia Dome. No doubt that the status of running back Adrian Peterson, whose status for Sunday's game is still uncertain, is having an effect on the line. Friday will be the day for Peterson as Vikings' coach Leslie Frazier indicated that if Peterson isn't able to participate in practice on Friday, then he won't play on Sunday.

The Falcons enter Sunday's game with a 6-4 record and a 4-5-1 record against the spread this season. Interestingly, Minnesota is 2-8 this season but sports an identical 4-5-1 record against the number. Atlanta is 5-2 against the spread in its last seven games against Minnesota but has won just 1-4 against the Vikings at home in the last five match ups.
