After Thursday night's game in which Jacksonville Jaguars receivers combined for 89 yards, with 56 of those coming on a garbage time touchdown drive, Atlanta Falcons cornerback Dunta Robinson supposedly said the following:
Those guys couldn't get a f***ing WR if it hit them in the head. They haven't had anyone decent since Jimmy Smith. They had Matt Jones? Now, Chastin West? Those guys are f***ing jokes.
"Supposedly" not because it would be shocking to learn he's capable of bad decisions, but because all of that came from only one media outlet, with nobody else apparently in earshot. I don't doubt that Robinson said some regrettable things about Jags receivers, but I'd like to hear him explain what it was that he said.
Not trying to be a homer. Just saying, this is the kind of thing you'd prefer to see more than one transcript of.
For what it's worth, many a Jags fan entirely agrees with the quote:
